THE FIRST LESSON IS FREE!
I believe in the importance of finding the right teacher. That is why the first lesson is simply a free trial lesson. Please do not think I will be upset if you do not wish to continue in lessons. I simply want what is best for you.

MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I served as a vocal music educator for five years and taught students grades 5 - 12. Currently, I serve as the Composition Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stephen F. Austin State University.

(Although composition lessons are the only thing I can guarantee online, other in-person options can work online too, it depends on the technical limitations of the student. Please contact me if you wish to request other lessons online).

HOW DO ONLINE LESSONS WORK?
The day prior to your lesson I will send a zoom link. I ask that all composition students send their work to me a day in advance of their lesson. I like to spend, at minimum, 30 minutes of time analyzing your music. In addition, the more time I am able to spend listening to your work, the more meaningful feedback I am able to provide. 

HOW DO IN-PERSON LESSONS WORK?
In-person lessons occur at the Wright Music Building on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. I ask that all composition students send their work to me a day in advance of their lessons. I like to spend, at minimum, 30 minutes of time analyzing what you have done. In addition, the more time I am able to spend listening to your work, the more meaningful feedback I am able to provide.

HOW OFTEN ARE LESSONS?
Lessons can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. 

COST:
Individuals can expect an hour-long lesson to cost anywhere between $35 - $50. This cost is dependent upon the skill level of the student and the type of lesson given. The first lesson is always FREE.
